I have owned an International Freight Forwarding company for the last ten years. Every day I've seen clients pay orbital prices for international parcel shipping from unreliable parcel companies.
Unfortunately, paying over $200 to send a small item is commonplace and ridiculous.
The alternative is to use your social networks to find friends and family that can carry your items. But this is rarely possible.

5. How does Viapax work?
We partner with people (crowd-sourced) that travel to your parcel destination and rent their unused luggage space. For example, the sender drops the package at our Airport Location for international shipping. We then process the package/s and give them to the handler in the sterile zone of the airport (past TSA screening).
Upon arrival, the handler drops off the packages at the VP Agent counter. We notify the recipient of the status through the app to take possession of the package.
Airports already use this approach to their benefit but don’t pass the savings to you, unfortunately.
